350NYC is one of the many members of the Sandy5 Coalition.
The devastation in Puerto Rico has confirmed what we've known in NYC since Superstorm Sandy hit five years ago – that climate-fueled disasters destroy homes and tear families apart with low-income people and people of color hit first and worst. It’s past time that our elected officials recognize this threat and take bold steps to protect New Yorkers and our planet by acting on climate.
March with us across the Brooklyn Bridge on Saturday, October 28, five-years after Superstorm Sandy, to demand bold climate action now.
Many communities have already suffered the impacts of extreme weather, but New Yorkers are rising up, and on October 28th, we will march together from Cadman Plaza at 11:00 am, over the Brooklyn Bridge to the Alfred E. Smith Houses in Manhattan. RSVP now and march with us:
